The Green Party- Not the Same Old Hippo Shit!

Hi everyone! I have decided that the best way to have a voice in the upcoming provincial election is to renew my commitment to the Green Party, and to run as a Green Party of Saskatchewan candidate for the riding of Moose Jaw-Wakamow. Otherwise, I'll have no one to vote for!
My ultimate goal of revolution through solution can be best achieved within the Green Party as part of a team.

Stay tuned for a different kind of political campaign!
Cheers,

I think that if the Prime Minister wants an election he should call one. I don't think Canadians should accept a government trying the strategically blackmail the opposition and engineer its own defeat. Either govern or campaign, but don't try to do both at once.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you came to your senses and realized not everyone will share the same values as you... haha, mostly kidding... remember that the core values of most religions are similar... simply being good to people... it's the (historically patriarchal) institutions that corrupted them...
ReplyDeleteit's important to work with others for a common good... I've always believed in the green party, but more (as pointed out in class thursday) because they're not just about getting elected...
remember the advice of Ralph Nader though (he tried out the Green Party for a while too)
“The only vote that’s wasted is voting for someone you don’t believe in.”
However... he admitted that in antiquated democratic systems, it is often necessary to vote strategically rather than for whom you'd like to win (voting against who your afraid of)... if that's the case, the best Green party advice I've heard is to contact the representative your voting for, and tell them what your values for, and challenge them to stand up for them... that way when they don't, you can know that you did your best... and maybe run against them next time around!
